Este libro sirve como una referencia rapida para practicantes especializados en oncologia, practicantes generales, estudiantes medicos y residentes activos en la atencion de campo. Se exploran los cuidados de la enfermedad a nivel multidisciplinario, observando el rol de los medicos de diagnostico (patologos, radiologos), asi como el de los medicos tratantes (oncologos medicos, cirujanos y radioterapeutas). Tambien se elabora sobre ciertos protocolos de atencion en el contexto de variantes especificas del cancer, incluyendo temas como el manejo de prioridades de atencion oncologica en entornos con pocos recursos.
